Contest winner's bio:

Val Adolph is a writer and speaker who has recently
started to learn more about storytelling, finding it
adds a whole new dimension to communication.

She is also interested in humor and in combining humor
and storytelling to communicate values and ideas more
effectively.

She was born in England and now lives on the Pacific
Coast, near Vancouver, BC with a grandson, a large dog
and two cats.

Having worked in a large institution for many happy
years, the favourite of the books she has written
and/or edited is a collection of anecdotal memories of
the staff and residents there. The stories tell the
story.

Val's Breakthrough Story was originally written as an
Advanced Toastmsters speech.

Val's website is <a href="http://www.valadolph.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.valadolph.com</a>.
