 Like so many of us, I have struggled to know how to help victims of this terrible earthquake. My idea is to work together with you, to give more than either of us could give separately.
Therefore, I have pledged to donate large amounts (a full 50%) of nearly all orders made by January 22, 2010.
I will donate to Partners in Health, a Boston-based non-profit with a long history of providing healthcare to the poor in Haiti. Partners in Health has been on the ground in Haiti, providing emergency medical care since the first day of this disaster. When this emergency is over and international attention goes elsewhere, Partners in Health will still be in Haiti, partnering with communities there to combat disease and poverty.
